How do I get there?

Albion Peace Centre:102 McDonald Road, Albion

Benarrawa Community Development Association: 79 Waratah Ave, Graceville. UBD Map 178, P13. From Oxley Rd, take Acacia Ave (next to Graceville Primary), and this road turns into Waratah Ave. The centre is nestled in the park just at the end of Waratah Ave, and has good disabled access.

Brisbane Powerhouse: 119 Lamington Street, New Farm, UBD Map 160 J11. Our funkiest venue, right on the river in New Farm Park. We're in the gorgeous "Graffiti Room", near to the Alto cafe in the Turbine Hall. It has lovely outdoor areas, and good disabled access. You can make a day of it if you come on 2nd or 4th Saturday morning of each month, as the nearby Farmer's Market runs on those days.

Myrtle's Cafe: 10b/238 Parklands Blvd, Currimundi (near Caloundra), QLD. Relax in the spacious Myrtle's Cafe - a little bit of calm just outside Caloundra. It feels like a country kitchen, with lovely (strong) espresso and cakes like my granny used to make. It has plenty of parking and it's wheelchair accessible.

Take Better Photos: Suites 6 & 7,  433 Ipswich Rd, Annerley. UBD Map 180, A9, and a map is here (opens in a new window). Our very own training centre is up the stairs on the first floor. The best parking is in Dudley St, or we're on the routes of these buses from the city: 100, 110, 112, 113, 116, 117, or 124, and hop off at Annerley Junction. Or we're just up the hill from Fairfield train station (but it's a steep hill!). Note that we don't have disabled access.

Griffith University EcoCentre: Nathan campus (170 Kessels Rd, Nathan) and a map is here (opens in a new window). A bright modern venue set in native bushland, with on-site parking and great disabled access.

Brisbane Square Library: 266 George St, Brisbane City, UBD Map 4 C5. Right on the river, in the new Brisbane City Council tower that spans the block between Adelaide and Elizabeth Streets, opposite Treasury Casino. We're on the first floor in room 6 - the glass-walled room that hangs over the escalators - an experience in itself! It has good disabled access, and the courses in this room are a little longer so that we can pop out for coffee.

The Cottage: 681A Gold Creek Road, Brookfield, UBD Map 136 M15.

Cleveland Scout Group, corner of Gordon and Bainbridge Streets, Ormiston. UBD Map 185 K14. There is plenty of parking on-site, and wheelchair access.

Lilly-Lee Gallery: Shop 6, 465 Oxley Rd, Sherwood (opposite Sherwood State School). UBD Map 178 N19.

Richard Randal Art Studio: Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha Road, Toowong.  Access to the studio is from the main carpark.  . The Richard Randall Art Studio is a beautifully restored, heritage listed building located in the Bamboo Grove of the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.

Downfall Creek Bushland Centre: 815 Rode Road, McDowall. UBD Map 119, F16, on the Raven Street Reserve. From Gympie Rd, the centre is on the right (northern) side of Rode Road at the bottom of the hill. The venue has good wheelchair access, modern facilities, and it is set in beautiful bushland and gardens.

Redlands Indigiscapes Centre: 17 Runnymede Rd, Capalaba. UBD Map 204, K5, and a map is here (opens in a new window). Nestled in native bushland, with its own botanic garden, nature trails and a comfy modern venue and cafe with the best scones around, this is our new favourite spot for courses. Has on-site parking and good disabled access.

Sherwood Neighbourhood Centre: 38 Thallon St, Sherwood. UBD Map 178, M19. A cool, shady venue right on Hives Park at the end of Thallon St. You can park on Thallon St, or it's just 300m from Sherwood rail station. The venue has good wheelchair access.

Fernvale Futures Centre: 1483 Brisbane Valley Highway, Fernvale (10 minutes before Lake Wivenhoe). A beautiful modern venue nestled in a park, with plenty of parking and good disabled access. Look for the information signs "i" - the course is in the same building as the visitor's info centre on the left coming from Brisbane.

Kingston Butter Factory: end of Milky Way Lane, Kingston (near Logan). UBD Map 242 D15. A map to the venue is here (opens in new window). Nestled at the end of Milky Way Lane in lovely gardens just 100m from Kingston railway station, the Butter Factory has plenty of parking and easy access by train from either Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Note there is no disabled access.

Brook Hotel Function Centre: 167 Osbourne Rd, Mitchelton. A map to the venue is here. We're in the Alfred Room. It has plenty of on-site parking, and disabled access by arrangement - please let us know in advance if you'd like the access ramp in place for wheelchair access.

Carina Leagues Club: 1390 Creek Road, Carina. UBD Map 181, M1. A map to the venue is here. The entrance is on Creek Road, and the venue has plenty of parking and disabled access.

Mackay - Old Town Hall, Sydney Street, Mackay.  We're upstairs in the heritage-listed Old Town Hall in Mackay. The venue sits in its own little park, and has disabled access with a lift.

Banksia Park Community Centre: 27 Crescent Avenue, Hope Island. UBD Map 8, H10 (Gold Coast section). A map to the venue is here. The venue has off-street parking, and disabled access.

Ipswich University (University of Queensland) Boilerhouse Room. UBD Map 233 C2. The university itself is at 11 Salisbury Rd, Ipswich, and the Boilerhouse Room is Building 22 on this map here. It's the building with the huge brick chimney. Car parking is free at the weekend, and car park 5 is closest to the Boilerhouse. The venue has wheelchair access.

Bardon Natural Therapy Centre: 151 Boundary Rd, Bardon. UBD Map 158 P10. Coming from Rouen Rd, the centre is on the left (southern) side of Boundary Rd. Follow the signs to the Yoga classes down the steps to the left of the building. Note that there is no wheelchair access to this venue, and several steps down.

Springfield Lakes Community Centre, Lakes Boulevard. UBD Map 237 E19. There is plenty of parking at the back of the centre, and wheelchair access at the back.
